Google Maps Are Now Available in Hindi Also

From today onward, you can see your favorite places on Google maps in Hindi. In a latest post on Google India blog, they have announced the launch of Google Maps in Hindi also.

The Hindi maps will be available on desktop and on Android devices running versions 4.3 or above. So, the next time when you will be in Jaipur, can see the name of famous tourist places like Amer Fort, Hawa Mahal etc. in Hindi. The historical monuments, road names, garden names, city names will also be available in both English and Hindi.

How to Get It?

Computer Users: By changing your preferred language in Google account setting or selecting the Hindi option available on the bottom of homepage.

Android Users: Go to the phone setting menu> “Language and Input” Option> Hindi> Save

Once you select your preferred language as Hindi, the Google Map will start appearing on your device in Hindi.

If you found some typo or other error in the name of any place, you can report a problem; the option appears in the right bottom of Google Map or via Google Map Maker.

A Google spokesperson has said that “Google always try to provide its users error-free, most comprehensive, perfect and easy-to-use maps possible and we are working on the same.”
