Facebook Made Messenger App Mandatory for All Smartphone Users

After acquiring Whatsapp in $19 billion, Facebook is planning to give tough completion to other famous mobile messaging apps like WeChat, Line, Snapchat and Viber.

Facebook is removing the chat feature from its main Facebook App. Indirectly, the giant social networking site forcing the users to download Facebook Messenger App in their smart phones. In April month, Facebook started notifying France, England and several other European countries about this FB messenger and got good response from Europe. And now they have decided to launch this Facebook standalone app worldwide.

Facebook has given an easy switching button from the Facebook app to the Messenger app and vice versa. By using it you can easily handle both apps at single time. The social networking site shared this news with Techcrunch and said that “In upcoming days they will start informing people and if mobile users want to send Facebook messages in future, then they’ll need to download Facebook’s messenger app.”

Although, the android, iPhone, windows users can continue chatting on main Facebook app, via Paper app or web based desktop interface.
