Photo Tagging on Twitter
It seems like twitter is now focusing to make the micro-blogging site more social. After increasing the number of photo upload in every tweet, they also introduce tagging feature for twitter users.
The users can tag up-to 10 individuals without affecting the character count of their tweets. When you select an image to attach it in your tweet, you will see an option of tagging. To tag a photo just tap on “who is in this photo?” button and mention either full name or @user_name.
The person who tagged in an image, will get a notification. If you found yourself unnecessary in this pic then, you can untag yourself just by simply click on three dots and then tap “Remove tag from photo“. You can also prevent yourself from tagging by making some changes in your account privacy settings.
Twitter wants to become a little more like the Facebook and Instagram. As, you know that Instagram was acquired by Facebook in 2012 and they both allow users to tag their photos.
